The 2010 All Ireland Youth Cycling Championships are being held in the South Tyrone area and promoted by two local cycling clubs; Clann Eireann Cycle Club and Island Wheelers Cycle Club. The championships caters for five age groups and three disciplines. Under 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and under 16 riders are given the opportunity to race a national championship Road Race, Time Trial and Criterium.

Race for one of 18 National Champions Jerseys, Gold, Silver and Bronze medals and  trophies for first 6 riders.

Both Clann Eireann and Island Wheelers Cycle Clubs wish to promote cycle racing and tourism in the local area by hosting the Championship weekend. The Championships are designed as a weekend festival to celebrate local, provincial and national level underage athletic ability,showcase the local area and promote local business and healthy lifestyles for all.

Please Note: No TT Bikes, Disc, Trispoke, aero/clip on bars allowed for the championship Time Trial.  The bike that is checked at the start of the championships is the only bike that the competitor can use.

Race Schedule:
Saturday 28th August Morning: Time Trial Championships.
Saturday 28th August Evening: Criterium Campionships
Sunday 29th August Morning: Road Race Championships Please note:  No TT Bikes, Disc, trispoke or aero/clip on bars allowed for Championships TT. The bike that is checked at the start of the championships is the only bike that the competitor can use
